Cascade Service Dogs foundation is built on over 30 years of experience raising guide dog and assistance dog puppies, being a group leader for over 25 years, including 25 years of 4-H Service Dog Project lead experience. There is no greater joy than seeing the independence, confidence, and joy well-trained service dogs bring to their companions.
Cascade Service Dogs was founded in June 2012 to train high quality service dog teams. The goal of Cascade Service Dogs is to provide well trained service dogs to:
- Returning military personnel with Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and survivors of PTS and TBI whose cause is unrelated to military service.
- People affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The dogs we provide come from a number of sources including breeders, service dogs organizations, families who donate their qualified dogs when they can no longer keep them, and occasionally shelters. Teams are trained through our Service Dog and Owner Trained Service Dog Programs.
Our enthusiastic Board of Director members all have many years of service dog experience and understand the benefits trained service dogs provide.
Cascade Service Dogs is a 501(c)3 non-profit, EIN #45-5513178.
